The hotel was founded by Mr. Manuel Sanchez Merino and Mrs. Blanca Vasco, important business people of the city of Riobamba, who saw the necessity for a hotel that would provide high standards, both to foreign and domestic tourist. Their main objective is to make every guest feel just like at home and that is what you notice as soon as you enter the hotel.

 

The hotel opened its doors in January 2006, and due to its excellent location it has had a great acceptance especially from adventurers that enjoy nature. They travel by train to the devil's nose, countless beautiful landscapes to see along train's route.

 

Therefore El Libertador Hotel invites all the people that want to see different and beautiful places to come to Riobamba, and feel the magic of the Chimborazo province.
